If you want to obtain a J-1 Waiver in Rhode Island, here’s what you need to do:

Rhode Island participates in the Conrad 30 J-1 Visa Waiver Program with a focus on increasing access to rural and urban community patients for primary care and specialists.  Rhode Island accepts 30 applications per year for the J-1 Visa (Conrad 30 Waiver) Program. Applications are accepted beginning October 1 of each year. The Rhode Island J-1 Visa Waiver Program does not provide direct recruitment services for J-1 candidates.
